AOC has slammed US Vice President JD Vance for his comments around Renee Good, who was shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer earlier this month.

JD Vance lashed out at reporters at a White House press briefing last Thursday (8 January) as he defended the Trump administration’s defence of the officer, despite an ongoing investigation into the shooting by federal investigators.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) slammed Vance, saying:  “JD Vance believes  fundamentally that what happened to Renee Good  is acceptable and should be okay in America every day.”
