This recording 26th June was in BalticaPhilharmony, the official Premiere was 27th of Juni in the Basilica OLIWA as the opening concerto for the 68. FESTIVAL OF ORGAN MUSIC IN OLIWA… with one of the most important organs of Poland.

"ECHO”. The mood of CONCERT FOR ORGAN AND STRING ORCHESTRA is inspired by the myth of the mountain nymph Echo: Condemned by the goddess Hera to silence and to repeat other people's words because of her babbling, she falls in love with the young man Narcissus. However, he has no interest in Echo and is only in love with his own beauty. As a result, Echo consumes herself with lovesickness in the forest... until all that remains of her is the ‘Echo’.
If you draw a line from Handel's joy of playing to the charm of César Franck's melody and harmony to the insistence of minimalist music, the style of this organ concerto is well described. The focus is undoubtedly on the playful joy of unconstrained music-making - naive and nymph-like, so to speak.
