I had a fantastic Banana Split at this 1919 Savannah, GA Icon. Classic Jukebox at Leopold’s Ice Cream Since 1919, Savannah, GA.

The line is long but well worth the wait. Everyone in line was happy and talking with each other and before we knew I knew it was my turn.

When I made it to the soda fountain I explained to the the young man that I’ve been traveling all over American and one of my big things to is find old fashioned soda fountains and diners and enjoy a big Banana Split. I showed him a few of my banana splits
I have really enjoyed on my journey and he said I’ll make you one you remember.

He went work - and it was outstanding!!! I gave him the freedom to choose two of the three scoops and free rein for mixins.

I had just spent the afternoon on the beautiful and historic Savannah boardwalk and the atmosphere was very relaxing and no one in hurry - just a lot of laughter and conversations.
