How to Make Tension Wrenches for Lock Picking

I show how to make a standard bottom of the keyway tension wrenches out of windshield wiper inserts. It is very easy to do and only requires a few basic tools. The wiper inserts can be easily found from a pick-and-pull type scrap yard. The bending process is pretty straightforward but try not to make the bend curved and not too sharp or it may break. The ones I have made are comparable to the ones you would get from a lock pick kit. I modeled mine after the ones from the Sparrows Tuxedo pick kit. You can also make tension wrenches for specific locks that may be difficult to tension with more standard tension wrenches.

- Hand Files
- Ruler
- Marker

- Propane Torch
