Hidden from view for decades, a trove of color images taken behind the Iron Curtain by U.S. Army Major Martin Manhoff comes to light. This is Part Two of the Manhoff Archives, a four-part project that provides an unfiltered view of what life was like in the U.S.S.R. in the early 1950s.

Part Two, City Life, uses the wealth of photos, 16 mm film, and letters left behind by Martin and Jan Manhoff to paint a unique portrait of life in Moscow and other Soviet cities.
