Review - Seventh Heaven Reverb Plug ins By LiquidSonics

Описание к видео Review - Seventh Heaven Reverb Plug ins By LiquidSonics

In this video review, Pro Tools Expert Deputy Editor Dan Cooper takes a look at the new reverb plug-ins Seventh Heaven & Seventh Heaven Professional by LiquidSonics

So what are the differences between the two reverb plug-ins?

Seventh Heaven is clearly a stripped back lighter version of Seventh Heaven Professional with the Pro version featuring more advanced controls such as EQ and in-depth metering just to name of few

What set’s these two reverb plug-ins apart from other reverbs?

These are convolution reverbs that are, what LiquidSonics claim to be hardcore reproductions of popular reverbs found in the Bricasti M7
LiquidSonics Fusion IR technology powers these reverb plug-in, we’ve heard this tech in other LiquidSonics products such as Reverberate 2 and Slates Digital’s Verbsuite Classics - both of those reverbs sound great
A new modern GUI design that looks amazing and is easy to use. This GUI design is defiantly a significant leap forward compared to previous LiquidSonics plug-ins

One thing to note, these plug-ins require a substantial chunk of hard drive space. These are convolution reverbs, so much like sample libraries don’t be surprised when you see several gigabytes hit your downloads folder

Final Thoughts On Seventh Heaven

"I’m not a big convolution reverb user as I find they can be a little rigid and uninspiring to use – that’s just me. These plug-ins though don’t feel like convolution reverbs, the response of the controls feel really snappy and I really like the way the reverb tails drift and develop – it’s really nice"

"I find that I prefer the lite version – Seventh Heaven, not Professional as the lite version is slightly cheaper and much more straight forward and focused as a quick creative reverb tool - don’t get me wrong the Professional version is equally as great but I’m not an M7 enthusiast – if you are then the Seventh Heaven Professional is well worth checking out.
