All these activities were done while we stayed at our first hotel close to the Xing Ping town in Yangshuo. There are many hotels in the area, it all depends on your budget.

Our hotel organized the Quad biking activity for us and helped us book a car to take ups there.

The return trip for the cab was 180RMB
300RMB per Quad bike, we chose to share one bike but alternated when riding, we also hopped into the trainers bike every now and then and he didn’t mind.

The trainer/ guide, was very patient kind and helpful, he took lovely pictures and videos of us and shared them all with us after the tour.

During the tour we rode up a very rocky stream, the guide did offer shower slippers before we left their branch to the stream but I didn’t want to wear them because they were ugly and looked dirty, my sneakers did get wet though but it’s kind of avoidable. Riding up the stream was super thrilling, we then rode to a bushy site to spin the bikes. The whole ride session is 1 hour but I think we were out there for longer than an hour.

Out driver waited for us at the branch till we finished. The trip was about 25 minutes from the hotel to the Quad biking branch.

Copy and paste the location on DiDi, take a DiDi there, negotiate a price but don’t accept anything more than 300RMB per bike, you can go as far as showing them my picture and say I said that I paid 300 🤷🏾‍♀️😅

Tips: because this area as a whole is quite village like, getting a DiDi back might take some time.
Also please ask them for my black sunglasses 🕶 that I left there. 🙈
Wear shows that you don’t mind getting wet, your clothes won’t get wet. Don’t wear long pants, dresses or skirts, wear a hat or cap for the sun.


PARAGLIDING 🪂

That was pricey but only if you want the pictures and video.
For 5 minutes ( which is long enough) we paid 380RMB
10 minutes was 780RMB
Pictures with the video 200RMB

They have lockers for your phone and bag and you won’t be able to take your own video and pictures.

📍 阳朔燕豪航空基地

Tips: don’t wear flops and sandals or anything that could fall while you’re up there. Go just before the sun sets to see the beauty or any time of the day it’s still beautiful.
