Ninja Foodi 15 in 1 Beef Stew Recipe

800 g diced stewing beef
1 kg casserole vegetables*
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic crushed
2 tsp dried mixed herbs
2 beef stock cubes/pot
800 ml – 1L boiling water
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Instructions

1. Heat a little oil in the Ninja Foodi pot using the sear/saute function.
2. Add the beef and sear it until it is sealed and browned on all sides.
3. Add the remaining ingredients, apart from any green vegetables, and stir.
4. Switch the sear/saute function off and place the pressure cooker lid on the Ninja Foodi.
5. Choose the pressure cooker function, set the valve to ‘seal’ and cook on high pressure for 30 minutes. Due to the amount inside the pot, it will take about 15 minutes to reach pressure.
6. At the end of the pressure cooking time leave the Foodi to release naturally for about 10 minutes before performing a quick release.
7. Remove the pressure cooker lid and add in any broccoli, peas or other green veg.
8. Set the Foodi to sear/saute.
9. If the liquid is too thin, stir in some beef gravy granules or make up a cornflour slurry and add that.
10. Leave to cook for about 5 minutes or until the green vegetables are tender.
11. Add any additional seasoning if required.
