Our car had a check engine light. The code was P0299.
The wastegate on the turbo was super loose and the turbo couldn't hold pressure.

I found a video on YouTube a while ago that showed a cool way to fix the turbo on my wife's Volkswagen Tiguan for Free. I decided to try the same method.

This fix worked great! The car now has full boost and drives just as a turbo car should.
