Esteban E. Torres Village Ground Breaking Ceremony

The Cesar Chavez Foundation and the City of Baldwin Park celebrate the groundbreaking of the Estaban E. Torres Village, a new affordable housing community. Named in honor of former Congressman Estaban E. Torres, a trailblazer for Latino Civil Rights and political empowerment, this village will offer 51 units of affordable housing to low-income families and survivors of domestic violence.

The project encompasses over 5,693 square feet of passive open space and amenities, including educational programming spaces, recreational areas, and a community garden.
