Ermai falls located near Kajur in Belthangady Taluk Dakshina Kannada.

Ermai Waterfall is a hidden waterfall located at the foothills of the Ballarayana Durga range of the Western Ghats. This is a multi-layeres waterfall.

The waterfall situated on private property but the public can visit this place.

To reach this place one can travel to ujjire, from there reach Mundaje, take the diversion towards Didupe. After heading 6km from there you get the point to take the route to Ermai Falls. On which four wheelers can move for about a kilometer, thereafter trekking to cover the remaining stretch of about 1.5km to reach the destination.

⚠️The Ermai stream has created two more waterfall above the one and they can be reached with some difficulty, only experienced trekkers can reach those two waterfalls.

⚠️Please avoid getting too close to waterfall during monsoon as the water level tends to increase along with strong currents. Don't climb without the guidance of locals as plenty of people have lost their life.
