Hiking Burney Falls State Park is awesome, easy and totally worth doing. Trailer camping in Hat Creek California? Yeah! That's awesome too!

I took a week off work and hit the road with my best friend since 4th grade. We spent 4 days camping, hiking and cooking outdoors. Our trip included trailer camping at the Hat Creek resot and RV Park, exploring Burney Falls State Park, Britton Lake, Lassen Volcanic National Park, and fishing and camping at lake Almanor.

Burney falls state park is a must see if you're camping norcal. I didn't even know Burney Falls existed until we started planning this trip, but I must say, it's the most spectacular waterfall I've seen in California, and it definitely ranks in the top ten waterfalls I've ever seen throughout the world (though I'd be hard pressed to name 10 waterfalls. Let's see... Niagara, Three Bears in Maui, Wailua Falls, some falls in Switzerland.... and a bunch more that I can't name off the top of my head).

If you're going in the summer, definitely plan to take a dip. If not in Burney Falls itself, then definitely in Lake Britton which is a pleasurable one mile stroll from the falls.
