Talbot Recycling

The truck mainly seen in this video is a ex Bendigo 2006 MJ GenV but is also featured by a new addition to the fleet which is a 2015 ex Wanneroo facelift euro 5. The ex Wanneroo truck replaced the ex Bendigo a few months prior to this video. In this video we mainly see the euro 3 working through a pretty typical small rural town about 10 mins south of Maryborough. The driver normally works his way through his run which is mainly rural shit and long dirt roads before he gets to Talbot around 5-6am. Due to the fact that the 2005 Euro 3 MKIV recycler shit itself that morning he was running about 45 mins late getting into town at around 7:10 in the ex Bendigo. I must say I had my hopes high when I first saw it because I had seen him in the MKIV earlier that morning and on first thought I thought the ex Bendigo was on garbage but clearly not. There was a healthy amount of bins out which made it easy for me to get a lengthy video of this truck, it was also appreciated that the driver was driving slow between every bin which made it easy for me to get past him and get more clips. Ended up loosing him around 8:30 to a rural section south of Talbot which borders Pyrenees shire. I caught up with him again in Carisbrook on his last couple of streets. They finished relatively early at 10:45 and garbage not too far behind him, something I found interesting is that he started his run at 3am which is something I’m glad I found out about because my original plan was to head to the depot at 3:45 and follow one of the older units out.
Not too sure about the details of the truck but I know there was a Euro 5 Flat Faced ex Wanneroo which is another new addition to the fleet doing the main township of Carisbrook. This truck was bought in replacement of the MKIV but the driver didn’t want it and gave it to another driver.
The driver normally startes off doing recycle then tips off and does garbage in afternoon or vise verse , I wasn’t too bothered in filming him because by the time he got back and started garbage at 12:30 I was cooked.
With all the replacements and things with the old beasts, the ex Bendigo is said to be stripped for parts in a month or so. I was told they are going to put the parts off the ex Bendigo onto the euro 4 truck. I’m lead to believe the euro 4 will be the replacement for the MKIV meaning that the MKIV will be a spare along side the ex Bendigo unless the driver seen in this video still prefers the MKIV over the euro 4.

If you were expecting or wanting some footage of this truck doing rural theres some footage of it out in some more rural areas. Obviously me riding around made it hard for me to catch up with this beast doing the dirt roads and highways.
