oh my god I did it.

Not the most RNG-based boss for the first phase, but you'll most likely need a speed boost for the second one (vampirism is a nightmare). Still, there's a LOT of skill involved, and you can probably do this with something that has a dash or a parry if you don't get speed (didn't get Legion Kata, but with proper timing you can probably do the entire fight, no joke).

Most important tip is: pay attention. If you can't find him, move around and focus ONLY on locating him. If you're low on HP, focus on running away so you can regenerate.
Other than that, be aware of what weapon he uses and what cues they have:
Twilight is easy to see coming, and the shockwave can be dodged by jumping right before he swings the blade.
Mad Noob's Shotgun is a nightmare if he chooses to equip at short range, but moving in circles will make it harder for him to hit you. One of the most annoying items he has since you're probably getting hit at least once, especially on Phase 2.
Star Platinum has an audio cue, and is very easy to dodge.
Darkheart also makes a sound. To avoid it, try moving perpendicularly to where he swings, he'll try to circle you, so be careful. If he teleports while holding it, you can follow his trail.
Vampirism is hell. Best you can do is run and pray. Sometimes it'll get you from VERY far, and sometimes it won't. If you have a speed boost, try to circle around him when he grabs. Otherwise, you can try to dash right when he does so or parry/counter the grab. Be aware he does this thrice a row on Phase 2, and that he'll stop in place for a few seconds when he's done, giving you an opening for melees that's very safe to take advantage of.
Strong Left is the same as Vampirism, minus the guaranteed loss. Good luck.
Grand Volley is really hard to react to, but otherwise, you can dodge it by moving sideways, or get lucky like I did.

Some weapons, like Allusions, have a lot of invulnerability while parrying, so keep it in mind! 10 Hour Burst Man is VERY easy to predict, so you can always go for a counter if you need to.

Overall, try to stay calm and don't let yourself get caught off guard.
