The government has stocked a major public debate with its intention to reform Uganda’s longest land tenure system.

Incorporated in 1900 by an agreement between the British colonial government and Buganda, 10% of Uganda’s land was apportioned to the Mailo land tenure system which favored mostly Buganda chiefs and prominent Ugandans at the time.

Tonight, on the spot, we host the Buganda Minister for Special Duties David FK Mpanga to discuss the salient issues of what is emerging as Uganda’s biggest political debate.
