Kindergarten Math 10.5, Identify, Name, and Describe Cones

Описание к видео Kindergarten Math 10.5, Identify, Name, and Describe Cones

We learn that we can describe a cone as having 1 curved surface, 1 flat surface, and a point. We see how a cone has a point, can roll on its curved surface, and can slide on its flat surface. We sort three-dimensional shapes into sets of cone and not a cone. We circle words that describe a cone as having a curved surface, flat surface, can roll, and can slide. We see there are cones all around us as ice cream cones, traffic cones, fir trees, party hats, even the cone for a dog after surgery. If we turn a cone on its side, or upside down, it's still a cone.
