This is a story about how the team of Ukrainian Association of Music Events and their Music Saves Ukraine initiative brought 12 influential players in the European music and event industry to Ukraine and immersed them into the typical life of Ukrainians for 5 days.

Some missed their own daughter's birthday, some postponed their Easter vacation, some returned to Ukraine for the first time since the collapse of the Soviet Union, but for most of them it was the first visit to Ukraine in their lifetime. Now all the ambassadors have one thing in common: they have returned as completely different people.

As a result, together with our ambassadors, we have made sure that dozens of Ukrainian artists will perform on European stages alongside such musicians as Maneskin, Nothing But Thieves, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, hundreds of thousands of festival visitors across Europe will hear about the situation in Ukraine, and the directors and organizers of these festivals will direct funds from their social initiatives to humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

We thank our colleagues, partners, and now great friends and true ambassadors of Ukraine for their courage to visit us in these difficult times, their willingness to experience what millions of Ukrainians are living through, and for the contribution they are making to our struggle today.

The film shows how their emotions, thoughts and perceptions of Ukrainian culture, Ukrainian society and the war in general have changed throughout this journey.

The video features Kyiv, Borodyanka and its Palace of Culture, Irpin and its Central House of Culture, Kyiv Institute of Rehabilitation, Chernihiv, Chernihiv Youth Center, and Drama Theatre.
