Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will lead the Indian delegation to the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) in Bridgetown, Barbados, from 5–12 October 2025. The conference will focus on the theme “The Commonwealth: A Global Partner.” Indian delegates will join workshops on democracy, governance, and climate issues, while also participating in a youth roundtable. The CPC brings together lawmakers from 180 branches to strengthen democratic cooperation worldwide.
