The 5th and 6th asana in the Light of Yoga are Utthita Parsvakonasana (extended side angle pose) and Parivrtta Parsvakonasana (revolved side angle pose).

Effects
Utthita Parsvakonasana
This asana is great for toning the thighs, knees and ankles. It also helps in reducing fat around the hips and waist.

Parivrtta Parsvakonasana
This pose in more intense than revolved triangle pose. It improves the blood circulation around the abdominal organs, spinal cord and hence rejuvenates them. The abdominal organs are contracted which aids digestion.
