Another Tupperware truck.... Traxxas trx4 Bronco

Got a fairly unused rig from Mr. Cam. He already had the paint scheme down and a nice patina. I added to the patina/ weathering..., maybe a little too heavy. Added multiple washes.., some decals, badges and stickers.
I also did the portal delete kit from SSD.., its beautiful and adds a scale look to the rig. It is geared very high.., added a smaller pinion and lower turn Holmes 550. Its still a little too fast (2nd gear) but a lot of fun in the sand with open diffs! Been a while since having a trx4..., forgot the fun of the lockers.
Had to bring out the scxii blazer and run them side by side.., such fun trucks. I need to add a higher turn motor to the scx.., very low crawler motor yet.

See how long I can keep these Tupperware bodies:)


Previously…

Local crew had a couple scale lexan builds out …, pics looked great. Had a Scxii full chassis sitting and one of my favorite lexan bodies as well. The 69 Axial Blazer…, was also one of my first crawlers; so it began.

So glad that it looks half decent on tiny tires…, wheel-wells are a little large but seems to work.
Still working on suspension.., had it sitting nice but had too much articulation. I remedied the articulation but in turn messed with the suspension/ ride height. Won’t know till my next trail run…
Just about as stock as you can get., withstanding the shocks and motor. Running a rebuildable panther 35t…, could use a little more speed (motor or pinion?).
Have the sides clinging to sliders by magnets…, helping to reduce the lexan wiggle when moving/ bouncing etc.
