Exploring #diu #gujarat

We started on a warm and sunny day to visit #Diu Fort. It was such an amazing experience to see the beautiful Portuguese architecture work.

There is also a guide facility available at the main entrance gate. They also have electric carts which will land you at the top of the fort near the lighthouse with INR 50/per person.

Diu Fort is just 2 km away from the Bandar Chowk and Diu bus stand.

After that, we visited St. Paul’s Church which is only 200 meters distance from Diu Fort. The St. Paul’s Church is very similar in construction to that of the Bom Jesus Basilica Church of Goa. You will be amazed to see the beautiful interiors and woodcrafts carvings done inside the church.

In the evening, we visited the famous beach of Diu, Nagoa Beach. Even being a weekday, it was crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the beach.

We had our dinner near the shores of the beach where there was a night food market and ended our day there.
