Can the stock market achieve new all-time highs on a daily basis? | Bulls persist in driving Nifty and Sensex to new heights! | Closing Trades. The S&P BSE Sensex, comprising of 30 stocks, concluded the eighth consecutive day on a positive note, surging by 349.05 points or 0.43 percent to reach 82,134.61. Similarly, the Nifty50 settled in the positive zone at 25,151.95, recording a gain of 99.60 points or 0.4 percent. Although the broader indices initially displayed gains, they ultimately closed the day in negative territory, with Nifty Smallcap 100 declining by 0.54 percent, Nifty Midcap settling 0.44 percent lower, and Nifty Microcap 250 experiencing a loss of 1.09 percent. Among the sectoral indices, Nifty Oil & Gas emerged as the top performer, concluding the day with a 0.94 percent increase. Nifty FMCG followed suit with a 0.72 percent gain, while Nifty Auto closed with a 0.54 percent increase. Conversely, both Nifty Metal and Nifty Pharma ended the day in the red, with losses of 0.48 percent. Bank Nifty closed flat with a slight positive bias, hovering around the 51,150 level.
