Happy 50th anniversary to Doctor Who! I know i'm a couple of days late but i couldn't vid on the day of the 50th itself and i had to re-render the video so many times because Movie Studio would crash, or screw up, or the file turned out to be too large. Therefore a few days after the anniversary will have to suffice.

Let me tell you, the original plan of this video was for it to be some random 11/Rose plotless video so i could release some of my crazy feelings for these two, but as i started liking the song more and more it turned into a bigger project that i've been working on for a while now. I was planning to finish up this video with the 11/Rose goodness i was expecting to be in the 50th but seeing as THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN (moffat why) i had to improvise. So instead you get 50th manips as an ending. Oh well, i really couldn't have asked for anything else but some Doctor/Rose in the 50th, because i'll be damned if it didn't blow my mind completely. The whole thing was magnificent! Much of my praise goes to Steven Moffat and all of the creators and actors who put so much work into Doctor Who for pulling off such a big anniversary with an episode that exceeded my wildest dreams. I just, don't have words for it. It was lovely and in character and funny while sad and sentimental all at the same time. Plus, it kicks the show on a new road, which is what Doctor Who's all about: change.

I want to add in that i know this video isn't very visually interesting. The problem with manips is that you can only do so much with them, and it just takes so much time to find the right clips, that afterwards you don't really want to do anything interesting with them, in fear that you may lose the cohesiveness. And since i finished up most of this video about a month ago, i stopped working on it for a while and since then i've improved. My next video, which will be focusing on the Avengers, will be much better, i promise!

Anyways, 11/Rose will always be my OTP of OTPs, and while i'm rather disappointed that they'll never meet each other (unless if something crazy happens at trenzalore and rose shows up but that's not happening) i can still manip this show to the best of my abilities. Just you wait, once i obtain Sony Vegas, i will be masking these two into scenes with each other as if my life depended on it.

I may or may not be planning a tribute to Matt's Doctor, as the next episode is his last. He's done such a great job for all these seasons i feel like it would be a crime not to appreciate him in some sort of way. We'll see how my creativity is faring when Christmas rolls around. I'm not ready to say goodbye, and i don't think i ever will be. Oh god next episode is his last. Oh. My. Lord.
