The Oyo State Government has ensured heightened security in preparation for the arrival of President Bola Tinubu and other dignitaries. The coronation follows the passing of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin in July 2025 and marks a significant cultural milestone for the city of Ibadan. On Wednesday, the first-ever Olubadan Coronation Lecture honoured the new monarch, bringing together traditional rulers, scholars, and notable guests to celebrate the enduring legacy of the Olubadan stool.
