All My Tomorrows | Lead Sheet Analysis & Performance Tips

I enjoyed going through this piece for the first time with you. I learn the chords in the video and do my best to keep it all together (!) for you as I reinforce the progression and eventually get to the point of playing it. The main take-away here is: know the song on your internal jukebox (I did, lyrics help with melodies), then have a general look at the chords to look for anything a bit weird (nothing herein), then dissect the chords numerically based on the master key (G here). Usually I'd have more time to learn the chords away form the piano but it didn't turn out too badly! Finally, I demonstrate a few performance ideas to both play fluently and reinforce the chords.
