He confesses how the Absolute seduced him with promises of power, of redemption.
He believed, until he saw the pods.
Now, drenched in shame, he vows to save others.

Among the pods lies another surprise — Mizora, smiling even through the glass.
Freed, she honors her word: Wyll’s contract will be broken… but not today. Six months, she says. Six months of waiting — and of doubt.

Deeper still, the Barracks.
Skull Lashers work here, infecting captives with tadpoles.
Their leader, Kressa Bonedaughter, leaves behind chilling notes — experiments on the “very first” subject, the prototype sent to the nautiloid.
As the Urge reads, memories strike — flashes of restraint, surgery, pain.
She knows these walls.
She was the “very first.”

Kressa is dead. The truth, half-buried.
Ahead waits the Restoration Pod — and the lift that leads below, to the heart of Ketheric Thorm.
