Justin Herbert Accepts 2019 Campbell Trophy® Presented by Mazda

Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert was presented with the 2019 NFF William V. Campbell Trophy® Presented by Mazda during the 62nd NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by ETT on December 10, 2019, at the New York Hilton Midtown. The Campbell Trophy® Presented by Mazda is college football's premier scholar-athlete award, recognizing an individual as the absolute best in the country for his combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership.

Herbert has accumulated career bests with 3,333 passing yards and 32 touchdowns this season while leading Oregon to an 11-2 record, the Pac-12 title and its first Rose Bowl appearance since 2015. Herbert owns school records for career completions and career attempts, and he is one of just two Oregon quarterbacks to surpass 10,000 career passing yards. The back-to-back Academic All-American of the Year and 2019 Pac-12 Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year is set to graduate in December 2019 with a 4.01 GPA in general science.

Dino Bernacchi, the chief marketing officer of Mazda North American Operations, had the honor of presenting the trophy to Herbert.
