Hiked an 11 mile round trip from Keld, a village in the Yorkshire Dales, to the Tan Hill Inn, the highest pub in the British Isles at 1732 ft above sea-level. The hike took me past Kisdon Force, a beautiful waterfall just on the way out of Keld and through Ravenseat, a farm by Whitsundale Beck, at the head of the River Swale. After leaving Ravenseat, I crossed the moorland to the Tann Hill Inn. Departing from the Tan Hill Inn, I followed the Pennine Way back to Keld to the dwindling light of the setting sun.

The route was overall easy to follow, although I did lose the footpath briefly between Ravenseat and the Tan Hill Inn. There is a good car park at Keld with toilets, showers and a honesty box.
