UNISON announced that they are now balloting members, asking if they wish to take industrial action over pay.

Ballot papers will be sent via post in the last week of May.

By law, at least 50% turn out otherwise action cannot be taken and ballots must be returned by 4th July 2023, again in the post.

There will be no online voting and it will all be by post. The ballot will be sent in an envelope marked very clearly.

The ballot itself will have 1 question – do you wish to take strike action over pay? With the option to vote yes or no.
