Well here we are! It's Neo Geo series time! Because damn it...it's my favorite retro gaming platform of all time and I've been collecting for the Neo Geo AES for years! As far as retrogaming collecting goes...it's not cheap, but don't forget...you can always get the 1:1 experience on MiSTer FPGA, which is how I am playing this now!

Up next: Pulstar! This is my personal favorite shmup on the Neo Geo AES / MVS as it has that slow, methodical memorization based gameplay I love in a good horizontal shmup! Plus it has incredible 2D sprite based graphics, a banger of a soundtrack and its just hard enough that it really makes you "get gud" to see the ending. Sure its not CAVE shmup hard...but it's no walk in the park. It has R-Type vibes in it's pacing but it's wholly a Neo Geo feeling game if there ever was one! and who knows...maybe it's sister sequel Blazing Star will show up in this series in the future...because Aicom NAILED it with these games!

And if you don't own a Neo Geo or a MiSTer...play it on Final Burn Neo...it emulates extremely well!
