Majeed Huts Islamabad is situated opposite to Quaid e Azam University Islamabad. A famous Street Style Dhaba since 1970. The dhaba is known for it's tasteful dishes and desi environment. One of the most famous dishes at Majeed Huts is "Crisis Omelette".
Well, here's a fun fact; One day the students of university came to the Dhaba and found that only small amount curries were left in the dhaba as they reached around the closing time of Majeed Huts. They asked the chef to mix all of the leftover curries, mash them together, put some spices and wrap that mixture with an egg. That was it.! The accidental invention of a tasteful quick dish "Crisis Omelette"
Apart from Crisis, there are so many other dishes available at Majeed Huts Islamabad that tasted so delicious such as Chicken Lazeeza, Malai Boti, Chicken Chili Dry, Aaloo Ki Bhujjia, Seekh Kabab Masala, Macaronis, egg fried rice and much more. All the desi food tasted so good. The overall environment at Majeed Huts Islamabad is quite peaceful and casual.
Crowd is mainly from Quaid e Azam University and areas around or those who have fallen in love with Crisis. Because I sure as hell have fallen for it. We would specially like to mention the hospitality of staff and the owner of Majeed Huts Islamabad. Mr Anees, the son of Late Mr Majeed who passed away recently but left his beautiful memories, recipes and lots of love for the people who visit Majeed Huts.
