First flight from Heck Field Gold Coast take off & landing Nov 2022

What a great day this was. Colin our regional manager from work recently received his pilot license and certification to take passengers.
He called me up to see what time I was going to go snorkelling at The Spit as he had seen me make a post asking for a buddy to dive with.
I told him that I wasnt going to go diving as all reports was that visibility diving at The Spit was really poor...
Next minute I get an invite to go for a flight with him to travel from Heck Filed at the North end of the Gold Coast, to then track south to Surfers Paradise, then make our way back up north along the coast line past the iconic high rises of Surfers Paradise, then up past The Spit, up to Jumpingin bar, then up to the very end of North Stradbroke Island, then make our way back south to land at Heck Filed.
Have to say it was an absolute blast, and what an incredible view from the air.
