Dr. Jennifer Soung is a board-certified dermatologist and the Director of Clinical Research at Southern California Dermatology in Santa Ana, CA. Dr. Soung has a strong interest in medical dermatology and clinical research. She is an expert in treating chronic autoimmune skin diseases and has extensive experience using phototherapy, systemic medications, and biologics. She has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and lectured at professional meetings to talk about new advances in the treatment of chronic skin diseases. She previously served on the UCI School of Medicine faculty as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and the Director of Dermatology Clinical Research from 2010 until 2015. Currently, she is a Clinical Professor at Harbor University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Soung received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine before her internship in Internal Medicine at UCLA West LA VA. She then completed her dermatology residency training at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and University of California, Irvine.
