One important tip for PhD and Master’s students. You're not the only student your supervisor has. Your supervisor has many other students. For example, if a supervisor has six master's students and, say, seven PhD students, that is 13 students. If those 13 students send their work to the supervisor on the same day, that person will be overloaded. Therefore, it is best to consider your supervisor’s load and plan your research process very carefully and get your supervisor/advisor to agree and sign off on it. Once the plan is agreed on, please stick to it.
