AC Milan pulled themselves out of their banter era by winning their first Scudetto in 11 years back in May of 2022. But 8 months later, and AC Milan look a shadow of their former selves. AC Milan cannot defend, and with Tatarusanu in goal, it is easy pickings for their opponents. But on top of that, AC Milan’s change of ownership late in the transfer window meant that they wouldn’t recruit as many players as their direct rivals, despite being the champions, and now the cracks are showing.
