곤충생태관은 한밭수목원 내에 건립되어 2016년 10월에 개관 하였어요
1층,2층 홍보관, 교육실, 유리온실, 연구실, 사육실 등으로 구성
2층은 곤충의 사육, 번식, 곤충을 연구하고 복도에서만 관람이 가능해요.
대전 곤충생태관은 최근 멸종위기 곤충의 인공증식에 성공하여 곤충 보호 및 증식에도 앞장서고 있다
