High Lift Garage Door Track System Demo

Overhead sectional garage doors operate on a track using rollers, cables, pulleys and springs. Track options are available depending on headroom or space above the door. Here you can explore one type called High Lift Tracks. This type can be used in applications with tall ceilings. Allowing the door to open utilizing the extra space or traveling above a loft. In this video our garage door is installed with 36" of high lift allowing the door to open enough to allow for a car lift. The springs and tracks are special order and are calculated by the manufacturer to fit each specific application. This door required (2) 40" torsion springs with .295 wire.
