The Perfect Homemade Bread | One Handed Bread Recipe (I broke my thumb )

Описание к видео The Perfect Homemade Bread | One Handed Bread Recipe (I broke my thumb )

The easiest, no-fail bread recipe. Growing up, I loved homemade bread, fresh out of the oven. It wasn't always perfect, and alot of times it was too crumbly for sandwiches, but we loved it. Since then, I have made alot of different types of bread and bread recipes, and this is my go to loaf bread. It is quick, doesn't require a starter, and the texture is light, fluffy, and holds together perfectly every time. I hope you love this as much as my family does!

3.5 cups bread flour, 2.5 cups whole wheat flour (4 and 2 if using fresh ground whole wheat)
2 cups warm water (110F)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/8 cup sugar
3 TBSP honey
1 1/2 tbsp yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt

Take warm water around 110F and add in sugar and honey. Stir to combine and add in yeast set aside and cover for around 5 minutes. Sift together your bread flour and whole wheat flour. Add 3 cups to your mixer bowl. Check your water and yeast mixture, it should have a layer of thick foam on top, if so, add into the mixer bowl. Stir in the olive oil and salt. Stir in the remaining flour 1-1 1\2 cups at a time. Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth (should take a few minutes, but don't overknead). Rub dough all over to coat with olive oil. Place in a large bowl, cover with wet towel or plastic wrap, and let rise until doubled around 1 hour. Knead again for a couple minutes, divide and shape into 2 loaves, and place into well oiled loaf pans (9x5) Cover with a wet cloth and let rise around 1/2 hour in a warm place. While bread rises, preheat oven to 350. I bake for 27 minutes, then turn bread to brown evenly for around 3-5 more minutes but don't overbake. You just want that deep golden brown. Remove from oven , rub tops generously with a stick of butter, and let sit a couple minutes, then remove from pans carefully and let cool.

Enjoy and impress your friends and family!
