As we know, the 3.0 TDI engines controlled by EDC17CP54 and MD1CP004 are equipped with an oil pressure regulating
valve that is controlled by PWM (Pulse Width Modulation).
The manufacturer reduced the oil pressure to alleviate the load on the oil pump and indirectly improve emissions.
