I'm delighted to bring you my lesson for Simple Twist Of Fate by Bob Dylan on acoustic guitar in Open D tuning. For those not familiar with this tuning, here is my video to get you started,    • Open D Tuning for Beginners to Advanc...   This song is not too difficult to play, once you have the chord progression for the intro you have everything you need to play the song. It just repeats the intro chords all the way to the end and finishes on E, as you will hear when you listen.

This song is all about feel, the more you can put into the performance the better. Play/sing it like you mean it. Dynamics are another big part of this song, you will notice that one of the things that makes it sound nice is the variation in strumming, sometimes soft, sometimes a little louder, never the same throughout.
