Architecture is the domain of interactions: the exchange of knowledge and expertise, the intervention of tools and techniques, and even the interplay of objects, bodies, and particles in space. Dr. Iman Ansari will present his ideas about architecture and how his work has developed through professional practice, scholarly research, and personal experiences.

Iman Ansari’s work focuses on the historical and contemporary relationship between architecture and medicine. He is interested in how various things—gases, fluids, particles, humans, and non-humans—move and interact with and within buildings, and how architecture can provide a better framework to rethink and reimagine those interactions.
