Here's the blotter update...

Well, I'm pleased to say that ALL five of these scents still smell great on the blotter, nearly 24 hours after they were first sprayed.

Coromandel has allowed a suggestion of dirt to emerge from its patchouli, but it's kept in check by those gorgeous balsams and resins. Heavenly!
Bel Respiro has settled on a quiet, soapy greenness. The sun has set, but the optimism remains.
No. 22 is still going very strong: 'fluffy cloud' aldehydes made even softer and whiter through an expert use of musks.
Perhaps the greatest surprise has come from Bois Des Iles and Cuir De Russie. They remain distinctive, but they appear to share more similarities than I'd appreciated until now, namely their use of sandalwood and musks. CdR retains that animalic growl, of course, whereas BdI has become even more contemplative, even more heart-breaking.
