Finland was chosen as the setting for this film because it has been ranked the happiest country in the world for several consecutive years. While only a relatively small number of Brazilians live there, reports such as one published by DW Brasil highlight an interesting paradox: even in the “happiest country,” some Brazilian immigrants still struggle with loneliness and homesickness.

This film explores that emotional gap.

Through contrast, silence, and memory, Guaraná Antarctica becomes more than a soft drink. It becomes a sensory bridge — something that doesn’t just quench thirst, but helps ease saudade, reconnecting people to culture, warmth, and emotional belonging.

The title Fill the Happiness plays intentionally with the phonetic proximity between “fill” and “feel” in English — suggesting that happiness isn’t something abstract or statistical, but something that must be felt, experienced, and lived.
