This peak is a hidden gem, tucked far off in the middle of nowhere down a narrow, bumpy Sierra road. I hiked up to Devil's Bathtub and camped there, which really should be called Angel's Bathtub, because it's quite a beautiful and majestic lake and the only evil spirits there were the mosquitos. The next morning, after a cup of coffee, I hiked up to the named high point on the map, Graveyard Peak. From there, the true summit, a pointy granite block to the north, lies perched atop a short but precarious knife-edge ridge.You can also approach the peak from the east by camping in the Graveyard Lakes basin, which is treeless and has a totally different granite/alpine vibe to it compared to the heavily forested Devil's Bathtub. There is actually a summit register up there for you to sign as well, located behind the north side of the summit block in a metal container. The ridge is mostly class 3 with a few easy class 4 moves.
