Profiles Featuring Christopher Plummer

Profiles Host Mickey Burns interviews legendary actor Christopher Plummer in this 10 minute episode teaser, arguably the finest actor of the post-world war II period who up until 2012, had never been nominated for an Academy Award (which he won). However, Plummer has won two Emmy awards out of six nominations stretching 46 years from 1959 through 2005.

In 2008, Christopher released his autobiography titled: " Christopher Plummer - In Spite of Myself". The book has received rave reviews-including the New York Times which notes: "Plummer can write as good as he ACTS".

A native of Canada in 1968 he was given the countries highest civilian honor - when he was made a "Companion of the Order of Canada". Christopher is also the father of the talented award winning actress Amanda Plummer.
