How to Attach Anubias to Driftwood

Описание к видео How to Attach Anubias to Driftwood

The best way to attach a Anubias plants to driftwood is to use gel form superglue. This method works the best because you don’t have the cosmetic appearance of using string or other methods. When the Driftwood is inside your aquarium, you want it to look nice when the Anubias plants are attached to it and string doesn’t look nice. Gluing the Anubias plant to wood is the best option to attach the plant.

First start out by washing the Anubias plant roots. This ensures that when we glue the roots in rhizome to the wood that it sticks well. You can then get your superglue ready by opening it and grabbing a Q-tip. Lightly dab the Q-tip inside the super glue and place the superglue on the driftwood where you want to glue the Anubias plant to. You can then take the plants and gently hold the roots against that super glue for a couple of seconds in the plant should stick to the superglue. the trick is to glue the roots and the rhizome lightly to the driftwood.

What’s super convenient about using this gel superglue is that you can glue the plants and driftwood while everything is wet. Once you attach all the Anubias plants to the driftwood you can allow 10 to 15 minutes for the super glue to dry. It is then safe to put inside your aquarium.

There are a couple different ways to attach the Anubias plants to rocks or driftwood, but the super glue method is the best in my opinion. After a couple of months, the roots of the Anubias plant will grow into the spores of the driftwood in the plant will grow and thrive.
