The clock is 8 1/2 inches wide, 7 inches tall and 1 inch thick. The week day lettering size is 1 inch tall and 1/2 inch wide, the time size is 1 1/2 inches tall and 3/4 inch wide. You can set the time for 12 hour or 24 hour and the date can be set month/day/year or day/month/year but can not be set with year first. The clock is nice and crisp and can be seen from a long ways away. The clock is back-lighted with the white letters shining brightly against the black background. You have the option to change the lettering to a bright yellow instead of white.
