Lyra screams, realizing what Dominic is doing.
Dominic begins possessing Lyra confidently.
The voices in Dominic's head begin to take ahold of him, becoming uncomfortable.
These voices come in the form of red paws, strangling him.
The paws strangle Dominic to symbolize how he can't turn back from the path he has chosen, and this path does not treat him well.
In the possession process, both individuals feel pain, but only one benefits from the aftermath. (After the possession is secured, the possessor feels no pain and the victim is unconsciously awake)
Dominic suddenly becomes hyper-aware of how his parents will think of him.
His parents fade away, symbolizing he can never go back to them.
Dominic becomes angry at Entity who was watching the possession from afar, starting to cry out of fury.
Lyra, who is successfully possessed, says nothing.
Entity does not care for Dominic or Lyra's well-being, crossing his arms to show his dominance.
