To the south of Valencia, between Alzira and Tabernes de Valldigna, the Sierra de la Murta rises. It is a mountain about 15 km long by 4 km wide, separated from the sea by the coastal plain that goes from Sueca to Gandía. It is a clear example of this type of small mountain ranges close to the sea: steep mountains where, in addition to crops, you can see good representations of the native natural vegetation.
