Making Halda Spools

Описание к видео Making Halda Spools

No Halda spools? A bit annoying, but I managed to make my own. They don't look as fancy as the original metal spools, but they work, and enable me to use this typewriter as intended! I just winged it, so there is a lot of improvement that can be done. Someone suggest that I could use brass sheeting instead of a soda can. The axle for the hinges would probably be better if it were made out of a thin nail or pin. But as a proof of concept, this is quite good.

Thanks to Adam for the picture of the Halda P spools! https://swedishtypewriter.com/

Tools and materials:

- Plastic typewriter spools
- Cleaned empty soda can
